The mutually agreed upon payment for services must be paid prior to services, or at the end of the session. If a third party payer such as medicare or medicaid is involved, insurance policy must be presented prior to services.
Real Life Counseling currently does not directly bill insurance. However, some clients will submit their Real Life receipt for services to their insurance provider. Some clients may be able to receive full or partial reimbursement from your insurance company based on your provider and your plan.
Real Life Counseling uses Square as a secure third party for online prepayment. Use the link on the right to pay online. Credit and Debit card payment at the time of service is also available. Clients also can pay using cash or by check made out to Real Life Counseling.
RLC provides a sliding scale for clients who qualify. See the sliding scale spread sheet is available under the forms tab above.
If a client misses an appointment without 24 hours prior notice, he/she will always remain financially accountable for the entire fee of the session.
